GIMP Education 2 by metalgearhead123 GIMP Education 2 by metalgearhead123
The drawing I used was just a quick thing i did while thinking this up i used an unsharpened pencile and computer paper so yeah! I think this is the first chibi-ish thing I've made. O_o

Well I hope someone can find this useful. But keep in mind I'm obviously not a prefesional and this may not be the easyist way or the best way but its basicly how i get it done when useing line art I scanned in and didn't draw on the computer with the pen tool(its probably better if you use that to redo the lines in The Gimp)

I didnt get into shading and all that because thats a tutorial in its self but also because you probably want to find your own ways to do that! :D Any questions just ask!

[link] I created this using the method shown!

try ctrl+L or go to widows dock-able dialogs and layers.

well you can see there are potions to make the layer transparent like that or white or what ever your foreground and back ground colors are

First I was excited when I read about this method. I tried it out immediately - but it didn't work :( Does it need a certain version of Gimp or something?
